By accessing or using CodeCollab ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CodeCollab is a real-time collaborative coding platform that allows users to:

  • Create and join coding rooms for collaborative programming
  • Execute code in multiple programming languages
  • Use AI-powered code assistance features
  • Communicate with team members via voice chat (Pro feature)

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscription Plans

CodeCollab offers both free and paid subscription plans:

  • Free Plan: Basic collaboration features with limited room capacity and AI requests
  • Pro Plan (₹99/3 months): Advanced features including unlimited room capacity, voice chat, and enhanced AI capabilities

Note: Pro subscriptions are billed quarterly (every 3 months) and automatically renew unless cancelled.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Execute malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
  • Share or distribute illegal content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining or similar activities

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any code you create using the Service. However, you grant CodeCollab a limited license to process and store your code as necessary to provide the Service.

The CodeCollab name, logo, and all related trademarks are the property of CodeCollab.

7. Code Execution

Code execution is provided "as-is" with reasonable security measures. You acknowledge that:

  • Code execution has time and resource limits
  • We are not responsible for any data loss during execution
  • Certain operations may be restricted for security reasons

8. Limitation of Liability

CodeCollab is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
